Ottawa University Joins Compact for Open Access Publishing

The University of Ottawa recently became the first Canadian University to join the Compact for Open Access Publishing, joining Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, and Berkeley and adopted the most comprehensive Open Access policy in Canada!

CALL FOR PAPERS: the Cyber Surveillance workshop is looking for papers exploring issues raised by online activity and government surveillance of that activity.  500 word abstracts are due Oct 1.  Selected papers will be presented at the workshop.
