Extended reality (XR) technologies, including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR), represent a new technological frontier. XR devices employ a network of sophisticated sensors, vast datasets, and advanced algorithms to simulate reality and create new digital environments. Vulnerable groups such as children are subject to increased risks, as they may not fully comprehend the privacy implications involved with extended reality.
