CIPPIC awarded $50,000 for research on DRM and Privacy

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPCC) has awarded CIPPIC $50,000 to engage in research on digital rights management (DRM) technology and its implications for privacy. CIPPIC's report is due March 31, 2007.
