Supplement to legislated "Do Not Call" list launched

Thanks to Professor Michael Geist, Canadians can now exercise their right to opt-out of unwanted telemarketing and fundraising calls that will not be captured by the legislated "Do Not Call" registry scheduled to take effect in mid-2008. ioptout.ca is an open-source online application that allows Canadians to create and manage personal do-not-call lists.
